Based in Northern Michigan, the Bay Area Insurance Agents Association (BAIAA) seeks to maintain and extend a climate of mutual cooperation among its members.
We promote a high standard of business ethics, oppose bad insurance practices, and provide educational opportunities to our members. We all seek to better serve the public through education, advertising and contributions to local charities.
To date, we have donated over $20,000 to local charities.

Each year, our members gather at the Grand Traverse Resort to golf, have fun and raise money for local charities. In 2011, we donated $1,500 to
the Pete's Place and $1,500 to the Goodwill Inn.
Our 2012 charities are "My
Sister's House" and "Freedom
Builders".

Our annual Christmas party not only brings out the holiday cheer and lots of fun, but it also raises money for charities like Goodwill and the Father Fred Foundation.
